Woman Not Guilty of 1st DUI
A woman was pulled over in Hillsborough, and after failing field sobriety tests and blowing well above the legal limit, she found herself charged with DUI. As a first offense, she was exposed to up to six months in jail, a license suspension, mandatory community service, having an interlock device installed, attending DUI school, and up 10 a $1,000 fine. To improve her situation, attorney Metcalf pursued the best course of action and took her case to trial. Based on the advocacy she received, the jury found her not guilty, and she was free to move on with no sanctions with her record intact.
The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
